Sydney Harbour National Park

Sydney harbour national park consists of various islands and foreshore areas around one of the world's most famous Sydney harbour. this park has many things to explore, see and experience. visit this place to explore in its diverse landscape and find sandstone cliffs, rocky foreshores , secluded beaches, picturesque islands and bush land. Bottle and Glass Point is a flat, grassy area where you can enjoy magnificent views over Vaucluse Bay. It has gorgeous surroundings for a picnic  and fantastic opportunities for fishing, snorkelling, diving and swimming.

Shakespeares point

Shakespeares Point in Nielsen Park is a great outdoor location highlighting the best of Sydney's urban and natural charms. It has a large flat grassy area with the tree- lined background. From here you can glimpse of Shark bay and the views of the iconic city skyline to the west. this is a perfect place with natural bush settings for a great day out.

Bradleys Head Amphitheatre is popular lookout and picnic area in Sydney Harbour National Park. It is the perfect spot to capture breathtaking views of the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Fort Denison.

After taking the photographs you can go fishing at the old jetty or take one of Bradleys Head’s beautiful bushwalks.

Camp cove is in the south head precinct of Sydney Harbour National Park. It is a beautiful beach with calm waters  suitable for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and scuba diving. Booking before visiting this Island is necessary as maximum island capacity is of 150 people. You can hire the island for weddings and other functions.

Goat island
Goat Island is a place with long varied history and it presents awesome harbour views. known as "Me-mel" by local cadigal people, this Island was home to convict work gangs and a gunpowder storage depot.

Take a guided tour and explore the Queen’s magazine built in 1830s by the convict work gangs, the convict quarry and the cramped sleeping quarters of the convicts. also visit one of the first water police stations in Sydney. there is a Harbour masters lawn overlooking Sydney Harbour where you can enjoy the picnic. this Island can be visited as a part of guided tour.

North Head is located at the northernmost edge of the harbour. it’s heath covered cliff tops offers endless ocean views and magnificent panorama of the harbour and the Sydney skyline. this is best place for diving, especially drift dives, as some of Sydney’s best boat diving sites are located here. also you can explore the remains of historic shipwrecks..

To explore this place on foot take the easy Fairfax walk . It is a great day trip destination which can be reached by taking a ferry ride from Circular Quay.

Shark island 

Shark Island is a picnic Island in the middle of the harbour. its lush grassy areas, picnic shelters and spacious gazebo makes this place perfect to enjoy your picnic along with the amazing 360° views. the island is also the perfect place  to watch the start of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race. 

This Island is one of the most exclusive locations to watch the Sydney New Year's Eve fireworks.

Cobblers beach 

Cobblers Beach is a picturesque cove located on the northern edge of Middle head. this is a ideal place for picnicking. the tranquil waters here is suitable for swimming, snorkelling and paddling. this is a designated nude bathing spot. For exploring, best is the walk at the Don Goodsir track to the 1801 Forts and see the Sydney’s colonial past.

Grotto Point at Dobroyd Head is one of the best places in Sydney Harbour National Park to see the rock engravings made by the region’s Aboriginal Inhabitants who have lived here for many thousands of years Inhabitants. These fascinating images of humans, marine and land animals are well preserved and etched into the Sydney basin sand stone. It also features timber enclosures protecting the engravings and you can learn all about them from the informative signs.

Georges Head is located in the Mosman, on the northern side of Sydney Harbour. This is the best place to visit in Sydney harbour National Park for exploring the 150 years of military history and superb harbour views Here you can see military fortifications from the World World II ear.  Take a walk and explore a series of interlinking tunnels and passageways excavated after the withdrawal of the British colonial troops and also see the parapet cut into sandstone at the start of the 19th century to ward off a feared French invasion. Also walk around the headlands to see World War II gun emplacements and enjoy some spectacular views of the gateway to Sydney Harbour, South Head and North Head.


Collins flat beach is a beautiful beach with peaceful surroundings and is ideal spot for a romantic picnic and scenic harbour views. This hidden beach is a perfect place to roll our the picnic blanket and enjoy glass of wine or snacks while enjoying the breathtaking views across the heads or take a dip for a swim. this beach is nestled between North Head and Little manly Cove and is just a short drive from  Q Station.

Middle Head is one of Sydney Harbour’s seven headlands. It a fabulous lookout spot offering panoramic views of the Eastern Suburbs, Middle harbour and Manly. discover Middle Head’s military significance by taking a Don Goodsir Track to 1801 Forts and explore the tunnels, sandstone gun pits and infamous Vietnam War-era ‘Tiger Cages’.also visit nearby Cobblers Beach to enjoy picturesque cove.
