Sydney is the holiday destination with some of the finest, clean beaches ranging from few feet to several kilometers in size. here visitors can choose from dozens of surf beaches and harbour coves to find a ideal spot. all year round locals and visitors with their boards go to the beaches where the waves suit novice and pro surfers alike. surrounding the beaches are restaurants,cafes and bars which provide great vantages point for watching the people, surfing and wave watching.






Bondi is Sydney's one of most stunning beach with a style of its own. It is about 1km long popular with backpackers, billionaires, board riders and the body beautiful. the beachfront promenade is famous for joggers and roller bladers. take a walk along the promenade to experience its carefree sun-drenched lifestyle. the main road know as Campbell Parade, has stylish surf wear shops, souvenirs, outdoor cafes, cool bars and fish'n chip shops. 

Here you can walk, jog, sunbath, surf on the beach or take surfing lessons in one of the surfing schools, shop in stylish surf wear shops, souvenirs, and fish’n chip shops.

Throughout the year the beach hosts many local and international events. Bondi beach is end point of the City to Surf Fun Run festivel, festival of winds kite flying festival,  Sculpture by the Sea is held here. Visit heritage-listed Bondi Pavilion Community Centre which has a theatre and exhibition gallery and an outdoor amphitheatre. Check out the Marine Discovery Centre inside and learn about Australia’s amazing sea creatures.

Every Sunday, the grounds of the local public school host the Bondi Beach Markets, a flea market where you may pick up some bargains including locally produced jewellery, handicrafts and vintage clothing.

Bondi to coogee coastal walk is the best way to explore other beaches near Bondi. It is a six kilometer picturesque coastal walk offering stunning views and that takes you to beaches, bays,  rock pools and cliffs. 

Coogee beach is 8 kilometres south-east of the Sydney central business district. It’s an ideal family beach with a stretch of golden sand, historic ocean baths and plenty of green parks for barbecues and picnics, and calm surf for safe swimming.

The surrounding cliff tops offer spectacular bush walks and some of Sydney’s most panoramic views.

At the northern tip of the coogee beach there is Bronte Coogee Aquatic Reserve where you can go snorkelling or scuba diving with the resident population of inquisitive giant blue gropers, the official state fish of New South Wales.

At the southern end there is McIvers Baths, a popular women-only pool.

Take a two hour coastal walk of 6km from Coogee to Bondi Beach for some of Sydney’s most stunning ocean views and cosy uncrowded inlets.

Coogee beach is easily reached by bus from the  Sydney city centre.

Palm beach is the northernmost beach of Sydney with the ocean on one side and the tranquil waters of Pittwater on the other. This is a beautiful beach to enjoy great surf and easy walks along the beach or to Barrenjoey Lighthouse.

The historic Barrenjoey Lighthouse and light-keepers’ cottages is located on the northern end of the beach. the Barrenjoey Lighthouse Walk is a popular track for surfers, joggers and walkers. 

The southern end of the beach is best for swimming.if you are visiting this beach in winter then this place is perfect for spotting migrating humpback whales.

The ‘still water’ side of Pittwater has boat hire facilities as well as fishing, sailing, kayaking and diving and the elegant Palm Beach Golf Club. Governor Phillip Park has a delightful picnic and BBQ area.

Take the historic ferry from Palm Beach to pretty Ettalong, a popular picnic and camping spot. There is also a scenic cruise from Palm Beach Wharf along the beautiful lower Hawkesbury River, which is a relaxing and great way to escape for the day.

Shelly Beach is located in Manly suburb of Sydney. It is a part of Cabbage Tree bay and a protected marine reserve.

There is a bush track around the headland offering spectacular views of the Northern Beaches and North Head. 

This beach is visited by surfers due to famous surf break "Bower". other surf breaks are Winki and Deadman's popular with surfers. the waters here are clean with large variety of marine life which makes this place popular for scuba diving. 

Also this beach is good for snorkelling as this beach is not very deep.this is also excecellent place for scuba diving and snorkelling.

Manly Beach is 1.5 kilometre-long golden beach for the whole family with a number of surf clothing shops sell everything from surfboards to bikinis, beautiful bushwalks, bike-riding paths and historical sites.

This beach is a great place for activities such as beach volleyball, kayaking and scuba diving along with lively music venues and pubs.

Queenscliff, at the northern end of the beach is a great spot to learn to surf as well as for experienced surfers. At its southern end, a pathway curls from the Manly Surf Lifesaving Club to Shelley Beach that is a popular track for joggers, cyclists and locals.

The Manly Scenic Walkway from The Spit Bridge via Dobroyd Head to Manly through some of Sydney Harbour's most stunning scenery and bushland.  

Take a leisurely walk along the tracks through virtually untouched bushland and look out for native birds and animals or take a guided tour of North Fort, an important military base from World War II.

Other places to visit are Oceanworld Manly, Manly Art Gallery and Museum, Penguin Cove  Penguin, restaurants and cafes and weekends flea market.
