Coogee beach

Coogee is Sydney's beach side suburb having a broad sandy beach attracting swimmers , surfers and families. It has Australia's last remaining women's and children's ocean bath.

There are laid back pubs and bars on the beach front to enjoy white sands , delicious food and great ocean views.

It's a favourite destination of sydneysiders and visitors where you can walk , swim , surf , snorkel , relax on white sands , eat , drink and shop.

Coogee is also a start or end point of , the bondi to coogee coastal walk . The bondi to coogee coastal walk is a 6 km coastal walk offering panoramic coastline views , cosy beaches and cafe strips. 

Patrolled beach , calmed ocean pools , seaside playground and parks , make coogee beach a popular family destination.

Ocean pools at coogee attract families with children. 

Mclvers baths is Australia's last remaining sea water bath for women and children only. It rests on the headland between coogee beach and wylie's baths.

Wylie's baths is a tidal pool with elevated timber deck. It is located a few hundred metres south of coogee beach.

Mclvers baths , Wylie's baths and Ross Jones memorial pool are located at the southern end of coogee beach. 

Giles baths is a natural rock cut pool with great ocean views , located at the foot of northern headland. 

From the south end of coogee you can see wedding cake island.

The relative calm waters at coogee makes it possible for snorkellers and scuba divers to explore the underwater world.

To the north of coogee beach is Gordon's bay ,  a wonderful snorkeling and diving spot. It is accessible to pedestrians only.

Grant reserve , located at the south of coogee beach is a popular place for families . It has playground , picnic tables , BBQs and plantings of native trees and shrubs.          The coastal walkway continues through the reserve. this reserve provides access to Mclvers baths and Wylie's baths.
